Softball camp introduces young girls to this sport and helps older girls and teens perfect their existing skills on the field. Topics covered in day and overnight girls' softball camp include defensive training, warm-ups, running drills, throwing, field mechanics and scrimmages. Camps are segregated by age and ability level, with breaks in between for fun games and competitions, along with other recreational activities like free time and swimming.
Counselor Certifications: Coached by renowned softball coaches and current or former softball champions, summer softball camp helps prepare students for competitive play and even a possible career in the sport.
Equipment to Bring: Campers can bring along their own equipment bags filled with their bats, gloves, helmets and any other gear required for the sport. Many camps will have extras of these on hand just in case.
Weather Considerations: Obviously, softball is a sport that must be played outside. Weather will be a factor, especially if rain is in the forecast. Each camp will provide guidelines on what to do in the event of inclement weather. But be sure to dress your child accordingly, such as cool breathable clothing and cleats for warm days, along with sweatshirts and sweatpants for cooler days.

Revolution Softball Camp at Randolph-Macon College
Located just outside of Richmond, VA, Randolph-Macon College is a beautiful location with multiple fields for our camps use. Join us at that beautiful Virginia campus for high-level softball clinics! Camp is open for all abilities and ages 7-17.Check In: All Campers will check in from 8:45am-9am Monday through Thursday.Check Out: All Campers will check out at 3:00pm Monday-Thursday.*Lunch NOT included. Campers are to bring their own lunch. Lunch will be inside.**Swimming will be optional daily. If you would like to swim, please make sure to bring a bathing suit and towel.
