Over the past 18 summers the Arizona swim camp has successfully helped over 1,700 competitive swimmers improve their stroke technique. The Arizona Nike Swim Camp is back at the University of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff! Instead of training in the desert heat this summer, join us in the mountains for cooler temperatures, awesome facilities and a taste of training at altitude (6,900 feet)! It is commonly known that training at altitude - where the oxygen level is considerably lower - allows athletes to increase their red blood cell count. In our movie makeup specialty, campers create glamorous characters and gruesome monsters! Using special techniques taught by professional makeup artists, campers learn the art of transforming each other into Hollywood-worthy characters, fairy princesses, wild animals, ghosts or zombies.
At the end of the week, campers take on a challenge to create a completely original character of their choice.
